Cashmere and Cold Foam: Aritzia’s A-OK Café Opens in BC

If you like your iced latte with a side of cashmere, you’re in luck.

Aritzia is continuing to blur the lines between fashion and lifestyle with the latest addition to its in-store café concept, A-OK.

We’ve been obsessed with all the ‘experiential’ marketing we’ve been seeing lately, and this one’s high on our list.

The Canadian it-girl fashion brand has just opened a new A-OK café inside its newly expanded, 22,000 sq. ft. boutique at Guildford Town Centre in Metro Vancouver—the first A-OK location in BC. (BRB, we’re looking up flights.)

Aritzia launched its first A-OK café back in 2018, and each new location reinforces their ‘dwell and spend’ philosophy: the longer you stay, the more connected you feel, and the more likely you are to walk out with that new blazer you definitely need.

It’s the perfect blend of retail therapy and a caffeine boost, and taps into a trend we’ve been seeing everywhere: the joy of grabbing a sweet treat and browsing the racks.

Retail is evolving. Aritzia is caffeinating. And if you’re still expecting your customers to “linger” with just a nice window display…you might want to start brewing some fresh ideas. (See what we did there?)

We’ll be keeping an eye on what comes next, but if you’re in Van, please go check it out and report back.
