Building a Love for Reading, One Delivery at a Time

We partnered with Lion & Bear to create a custom Shopify website that reflects their mission to inspire a love of reading in children. Our goal was to design a visually captivating, user-friendly site that elevates their online presence, streamlines subscription management, and connects with families in a meaningful way.

HOW WE BROUGHT THE VISION TO LIFE:

1. Establishing a Warm, Engaging Design

To create a welcoming, family-friendly experience, we chose a soft color palette and playful yet sophisticated imagery that aligns with Lion & Bear’s vision. A key feature of the homepage is the hero section, where a child is seen engrossed in a book, immediately establishing a connection to the brand’s mission. Paired with bold headlines and a clear call-to-action, this design makes it easy for visitors to understand and connect with Lion & Bear’s message right away.

2. Simplifying the Subscription Experience

Understanding that parents value clarity and ease when selecting subscriptions, we designed a streamlined “How It Works” section. This section walks parents through the process step-by-step, using engaging visuals and concise text that remove any guesswork from the subscription journey. Clear CTAs guide parents to take action with confidence, enhancing the overall user experience and supporting conversion goals.

3. Highlighting Subscription Options

Recognizing that each family’s needs are unique, we created dedicated sections for each subscription option. By including vivid images, concise descriptions, and clear CTAs, parents can easily compare and choose the best subscription plan for their children. Each option links to detailed product pages, creating a smooth transition from exploration to subscription sign-up.

4. Expanding Audience Reach with Gift Options

To broaden Lion & Bear’s appeal, we added a gift subscription option, prominently displayed on the homepage. This feature allows customers to gift a subscription to others, introducing new families to Lion & Bear’s community. By simplifying the gift-giving process, we expanded the brand’s reach, helping more children discover the joy of reading.

5. Building Trust through Social Proof

To foster a sense of community and credibility, we integrated social proof through a live Instagram feed. This feature showcases real families enjoying their Lion & Bear subscriptions, allowing visitors to see the brand’s impact firsthand. It also helps create a connection with potential subscribers, showing that Lion & Bear is trusted and loved by other families.

With a digital presence that combines engaging visuals, intuitive navigation, and clear communication, Lion & Bear now has a website that truly embodies their mission.
